Aftermath.

I didn't prepare and lost. Instead of enduring with the loss, I let fear overcome myself. Fear leads to obsession with power, obsession beckons darkness. In the end, who suffered? Me.

I have no right to throw the cold shoulder to anyone.

What else is darkness but hate and rage?

I'm sorry.

母。御免なさい。本当に、私は未熟な人だった。残念な事をしました。
本当に、本当に、御免なさい。
許して下さい!

Reflection.

Pride. Honor. Endurance.

Long ago, mankind have been living their lives in hopes of acceptance, in hopes of being one of them. The women and children stayed at home and tend to house chores, waiting for the head of the family to arrive home from a long day's work. To be able to bring bread to the table and work from dawn to dusk was an important job. To be able to draw swords and fight for your country was called an honor.

A girl's way of gaining honor was to make her parents proud. Back then, when girls dared not stand up, they were taught the basics of home economics, but never philosophy. However, today is a different day. Women are able to climb to the top and show the world their achievements, able to bring honor to their families.

I want to arrive home every day, knowing that my parents are proud of what I have done. I want to sleep each night, knowing that my parents are able to enjoy the fruits of their hard work and that they have raised their child well. This world today is brimming with opportunities to seek and chances to grab.No longer will I ever bring shame to my family name.

I will fight for my country with fruit of the spirit and the waters of knowledge and wisdom. For the pen is mightier that the sword, and words sharper than any obsidian dagger. Mama please do not weep anymore, for the clouds and guardians above weep with you. One day, I will return home from a long journey and you will see. You will see your child all grown up. All that effort put into a small seed nurtured with love, water and sunshine will bloom into flower.

Mum, Dad, I am ready to bring honor to your name.

"I used up all my sick leaves and called in dead."

I seriously cannot wait any longer for holidays.
Because of music being on the last day of NCEA, I am unable to rest in peace. Every time I think of my year 10 days' end creeping in closer and closer, I end up thinking about all the work to do. Work, work work.

This is by far the shortest blog post I've ever had. Maybe its because I don't have much to write about these days... Things have been the same old average Joe.

P.s. Hello Nadiah. Liking my blog so far? =_=

Just the way you are.

Do not mistake this post for a Bruno Mars fanatic entry; for the title has a non-music related meaning, but a short piece of thought. A thought about two people, soon to be friends.

I'm fine with you just the way you are. Your smile, your laughter, everything. I'm fine with the way that you don't even know me, with the fact that we are not even newly acquainted friends. I just wish to exchange words with you for the first time. A simple hello or a complex introduction. All I ever received was a courteous wave at a distance. You may not remember those few seconds, but I did. It became a memory.

Why.

The angels above are toying with time. With fate.
No matter what I do, I always end up being further and further away. [Please excuse my undeveloped grammar; it is a work in progress]

I stand from a far, sleeping, dreaming, waiting.
When will that day come?

The day,
in which we join hands and smile together.

Once Upon a Time [Pt.1]

Once Upon a Time there was a young man called France. He owned a beautiful house with bountiful flora and he was a well respected man. Many women had swooned over him and men envied his prosperity.

But dear France was admired from a distance. The man was renowned for his exceptional culinary skills and hand crafted works of art only to be isolated. Until that one day.

'Twas a blissful morning as dawn broke and dew glistened.France was strolling down a quiet park carrying some art supplies when he saw a lady weeping. He asked her what was wrong. She simply stared.

"Please miss, I am merely trying to be of assistance." He reasoned.
The lady opened her mouth but she could not speak. Realizing that she was mute, France took a piece of paper, a pencil and handed it to the lady.

"I'm alone." She wrote.

France understood the lady and empathized her. He invited her to tea at a nearby cafe but she politely refused and left. Unable to resist curiosity, France ran and stopped her.

"Please."

The lady stared at France and nodded with a smile. Ecstatic because of her acceptance, the elated man held the lady's wrist and briskly walked whilst chattering away.

After observing carefully, France saw that the woman was in fact, very beautiful. She had mousy curled locks and deep cucumber green eyes. He asked her questions slowly and carefully and she was happy to answer them one by one.
"My name is Isabella Eiffel"
"I am 21 years old"

Curious by her actions, France asked one more question.
"Why are you willing to answer my questions? Are you not scared because I am a stranger?"

The lady raised a brow and giggled. She played with the pencil by spinning it between her fingers and began scribbling on the messy piece of paper.

"But you are my friend. Someone I can trust, are you not?"

The young man stared at Isabella's reply. She certainly was a daring young woman. Sipping his espresso, France smiled and nodded. They shared a few more words, exchanged phone numbers and parted way.

To Be Continued.

Ai

What is love?

There are many forms of love. For starters let’s put it into a simpler form.

1. Yui loves cake (OH MY GOSH ME TOO! :D )

2. Yui loves her family

3. Yui loves a guy.

See what I mean?

In my opinion, love is a word mentioned too much. We have to admit it. Now or never. I find myself going through my usual schedule at school and there is probably not even one day in which I do not hear that one syllable, four lettered word. Do not mistake me as a heartless fool who jests sarcastically about ‘the meaning of life’ or other philosophical ideas. I’d rather live in a world of meaning and cherished motives than to drown in a torrent of attention-seeking love.

Maybe I’m exaggerating too much. But just maybe. Maybe, one day I’ll seek a way to cherish-

Scratch that. My ranting had been as trivial as a dog chasing its own tail. Everything I wanted, everything I love, everything I ever desired; it begins with just the small things. The things that make life worth that extra laugh, extra effort and maybe even that extra smile. You may not notice this, but I like the way everything just…. Fits. Exactly like the last and final jigsaw piece, or maybe an old box of childhood items you discovered as you blow the dust away from the still framed memories in your mind. That sense of peace of mind simply brings the soul to ease.

Don’t try to be someone you’re not. Neither do you blame your past for what you are today. Be careful of what you think! Because you are what you think. Keep a close eye on your open minded box and also peer out into the world to gain inspiration and ideas. I love listening. Whether it be music or insightful chatter, it pays stop everything and just listen. We were created with two ears and one mouth for a purpose.

Up there, was what I wrote on word document being deprived of internet. =_=

Read and be amused/inspired,weirded out? :3

Studying the art of studying.

Hello blog~!
It has been an age since I posted a blog.... And now is the time to get my fingers typing away! [coughatschoolcough cough.....]

So far the new house has been spendid~ It still smells of fresh paint and sometimes the odd stench of poisonous varnish, but its nice and homely. I can't believe that I am actually still alive without a week of domestic internet... Which is why here I am, cooped up on a laggy school computer, typing away my little life on blogger~
At chamber orchestra, I was late because I woke up terribly late... To be honest, I WILL blame all the hectic dreams I've been having for a few days straight. (The 'dreams' side blog will be updated shortly after school :D ). So yeah, I woke up late and rushed all the way to school... Sheepishly stepping into the music room and slipping into my seat.

Safe! C:

This Friday, is mock exam day.

I need, need, need, need, NEED to study.

Problem: I (As an unevolved [attention span wise] creature) cannot comprehend the meaning of 'Studying'.

To-Do list:
[Jap]Vocab
[Jap]Structure
[Jap]Reading
[Eng]Reading, writing, dying.
[Mus]Practice my violin, not the piano. OTL
[Art]Painting....

Yeah. Well... I'm screwed. I don't even know why I bother making a list when I don't even follow them. <- [Thats bad. REAL bad.]

Oh yeah. Tomorrow is also the last day of the interclub season!! I'm so excited cause then I'll be FREE!!! Although I'm not really looking forward to singles ladder next year.... Hope I get into a good team! Also... In three weeks its Nationals!! :D

Study study study~!

Now: Working on Composition
Thinking: "Me sooo Hungee... ;_; "
Before: All of the above.
Later: Going to practice violin
Action:Dying
Reaction: Still Dying. OTL

I think I'll take a rest for now.

Until then~

Adieu.
