Hello typhoon.

Yes, according to the weather forecast, there is a typhoon bound to pass by Auckland this week. What lovely news. I just hope that I won't see cows in mid-air and house roofs flickering in the wind...

Alas, summer holidays are almost over D:
Its a shame actually. Returning back to school with a typhoon on the loose. Mother nature must be mad because of school starting as well. I guess the plus side of school is meeting my friends again and getting out of the house five days a week.

Yesterday I have accomplished one of the greatest things in my life so far. I learnt how to take the bus to city independently. Well, this IS a huge step for me considering that I've only taken a bus maybe three times a year, give or take. Plus, 'its actually easier than it looks' says the person who spent more than half an hour triple checking the bus route and ticket costs on the transport website.

At least now I have learnt to be more independent in my own odd ways.

And to celebrate this, I shall present a picture of a bus.

Adieu,
Puppet.

Origami quilling.

Yes, I have begun my new craze for origami unit boxes. There are so many patterns you can create with the change of a single fold and it is so darn easy. The boxes above were the first two i made. Pretty, no?

The bigger box was made by using four whole pieces of origami paper, which was a bit wasteful. So I started cutting them up into quarters. For the past week, I have been spending countless hours just sitting at the coffee table folding away...

So far, I have made square, heptagon and octagon boxes. For the heptagon boxes, I didn't realize that it was a seven sided box until I saw the title. Funny that. So being the random me, unable to stand having one piece of paper left over, I made two rainbow heptagon boxes. That meant cutting up seven coloured papers into twenty-eight quarters and folding every single one of them.

Viola.
Katekyo Hitman Reborn inspired me. 8D

By the time I was into the octagonal boxes, my friend was texting me so I thought of giving her a box as well... But who would want a box made of paper? So I had and idea. PUT MORE PAPER ONTO IT~~~!
Ahem.
I meant, why not add some quilling to it? :3
No, quilling is not the same as 'quilting'.

This is the difference. (Left)Quilting. (Right)Quilling.

And here is my quilled origami box~!

Good Cod.

I realized that over the past week I have been sitting in front of the computer like a dazed idiot. Hahaha. Oh yes, so for the past week I have just surfed over DA (Deviant art, not Dragon Age, mind you.) and I came up with some (I must say) awe inspiring pictures. :D

I have also started my new craze for Legal! Luke, Teen! Denzel, Souji Seta and Naoto Shirogane C:
Who ever invented Teen!Denzel (FF7 advent children) was a mad genius. Particularly because he/she drew a faint-worthy picture of him. Squee.

I blame the pretty face. ;A;
Readers, you have the full right and permission from me to backhand me senseless. To a certain extent. :D

And yes, Legal! Luke =_=
Although I am put off by his sense of errr... peculiar fashion, (Come on. Blue knee high socks and shorts with a blazer? Bah.) he has the oh-so awesome Legal! Roll. OTL
Furthermore, some of the comics that Deviants have come up with are ridiculously hilarious. :D

To be honest, I disliked Souji with I first encountered him. No, scratch that, he was the protaganist and I still disliked him. Maybe it was the fact that he was almost like an empty shell. But as I progressed through the story, my thoughts slowly changed. It was hard to believe that I (A typical asian gamer) had shaped a person to be who he is now. The choices, replies, character, basically the stuff that really happens upstairs.

Heh, maybe... I'll start gaming again when I'm an oldie with only a few marbles left up stairs.

Summer holidays is fantastic. C:
Some of it was spent cleaning the house, some of it gaming.
Correction: Most of it was spent on gaming. 8D

Proof of my no-lifeness. X3

Ragnarok is fun.
That is all.

Photo madness.

I think that I'm better off being a photographer. My family and I went down and around the hills to Coromandel to have a relaxing holiday with out family friends. I must say, the view was absolutely stunning. And with stunning views there are always chances of taking pictures of them. My friend brought along her godly (compared to ours) camera. From then on, I went on a photography spree. Seriously! its hilarious! I was running everywhere taking pictures of anything which catches my eye; flowers were my favourite thing to take pictures of. I am happy to say that the trip was a blast, apart from the fact that I almost puked, twice.

Walking to the Cathedral Cove took a grueling 35 minutes in the intense heat but it was well worth it. My friend and I found a small cave all dark, mysterious and screaming with kh-ness... Wait- what?
Yup. Haha~~~! I went on such a random sugar high throughout the trip, therefore I was running into the cave trying to find Sora, Riku, Kairi, a Nobody saying "The door has been opened", a door or all of the above. :D Craziness has never been better that this.

Going off topic, (because the world is full of possible and rarely one-noted things) T.v.2 (or 3?) has been showing the Harry Potter series on Sundays since Christmas, which explains the picture at the top. Nothing beats a child version of good ol' its-all-about-me Harry. X3

P.S. I swear, I had the most weird posture when trying to photograph the flowers in pots. One of the examples is in the middle of Himaruya's blog.
